If you want to learn how to hypnotize someone in a conversation now, read this post and practice it tonight.

For those who want to learn how to hypnotize someone in a conversation and want to try it now, I will quickly tell you what you can do based on my experience with my girlfriend. I’m sharing this because I know many of you have a partner who sometimes (or often times) annoys you and you wish you could somehow persuade him/her to be more interested in what YOU like to do. Wouldn’t it be great if you can do that? Of course it would!

Okay, the following is what I do sometimes to my girlfriend as she is the one I practice my conversational hypnosis techniques with the most often.

1. Create a Nice and Relax Ambiance

Hypnosis normally does NOT work on people who are stressed and/or not willing to be hypnotized. This does not mean they need to know they will be hypnotized but it’s important to make your partner relaxed and open to the conversation with you. This can be done at anytime of the day but it would make more sense to do that at night or weekends (whenever your partner can relax well). Also it would work better if you dim down the room lights or use candle lights (just like creating romantic ambiance for your partner).

2. Affection is The Basis to Work On

Whether your partner is your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband, you guys are still together because there is LOVE between you. Your partner may annoy heck out of you but he/she still has certain affection towards you and is subconsciously hoping to have a better and more beautiful relationship with you so that’s the basis to work on.

3. Have A Happy Conversation and Make Your Partner Feel Good (Creating Rapport)

Bring up various positive subjects and also let your partner talk about what he/she wants to talk about in order to make your partner feel good. This may work better with women as they normally love to talk more than men. It’s also important to have a nice and meaningful conversation to get her into a desired state of mind.

4. Make Powerful Hypnotic Suggestions to Your Partner’s Subconscious Mind

Once your partner is well relaxed and in happy mood, his/her subconscious mind becomes wide open to any suggestions that you would make. This is the time to make a powerful hypnotic suggestions in the form of quote.

Let’s say you love fly fishing but your partner has no interest in it. Now, what you can do is making suggestions about fly fishing in the conversation like “I just remember Mike told me at work today that he loves to try fly fishing with me.” You need to make this kind of suggestion naturally, then quickly go back to the conversation you were having with your partner to avoid suspicion. After that repeat the same or similar suggestions in your conversation several times.

If you do this right, your wife will be interested in fly fishing without knowing why and end up going for fishing with you or watching fishing TV programs with you!

I have done it quite a few times to my girlfriend. I must admit that it did not work when I first started to practice but now I can do it successfully pretty much every time.

Is Conversational Hypnosis that Simple?
It takes practice to hypnotize someone, especially if you’re trying to learn how to hypnotize someone on your own. There are many good study materials on both online and offline so do some research and take action! Click here for one that I recommend.

This video shows how to hypnotize someone in just a matter of 3 minutes.

This is the video showing a perfect example of how to hypnotize someone using conversational hypnosis. I must say this English guy, Derren Brown is the master of hypnosis, NLP, mind control or whatever you call it so to reach his level, you obviously need to have a lot of practice. I wonder if you would feel so powerful when you get to his level of conversational hypnosis… All you need to do is learn and understand all about conversational hypnosis through a good study material and then keep on practicing just like I’ve been doing.

You may be wondering how long it would take to be able to hypnotize someone just like the video… Well, that really depends on your practice, confidence and perhaps your communication ability. One your own, you’ll would most likely need years of practicing but if you are a decent communicator and naturally confident person, it should not take long to successfully use some of the techniques in your everyday life. Your learning curve is cut big time if you learn from experienced hypnotists. Click here to watch a free video that will get you started.

Is it hard to learn how to hypnotize people? I explain three different types of hypnosis (clinical hypnosis, self hypnosis and conversational hypnosis) and how hard they are to learn.

“Is it hard to learn how to hypnotize people?” Well, I think this is probably one of the most commonly asked questions among those people who are interested in learning hypnosis and certainly it was the question I’ve had when I got interested in learning conversational hypnosis. If you’re looking to learn how to hypnotize someone as fast as possible, this video is a great way to get started.

First of all, I’m not a master hypnotist or hypnotherapist who has own practice. I just learn and use the hypnotic techniques occasionally for fun (I mean not in a bad way of course) and also to make my life little more powerful so to speak… So please don’t take any of my comments as a professional advice or anything like that. I’m just sharing what i know and what I do, that’s all.

Clinical Hypnosis

Okay back to the question… I think the answer depends on what kind of hypnosis you want to learn. Let’s say you want to be a hypnotherapist (clinical hypnotist).

From what I studied by reading a lot of materials and through conversations I’ve had with some hypnotists I’ve met in the past, clinical hypnosis is probably “the hardest” one to learn if you want to run your own practice. What I mean by “the hardest” is it takes time to master and cannot learn online because you’ve got to study through “hands-on” learning process like any other medical courses. It would also cost quite a lot of money and you need to study psychotherapy and probably some other medical classes. Basically this is almost same as being a medical doctor so I think, it’s not an easy one to master.

Self Hypnosis

Since my blog is about learn how to hypnotize someone, self-hypnosis may not be appropriate to mention here but I think it is still an interesting subject so i will talk about it briefly.

Learning self-hypnosis is not hard at all. Because many self-hypnosis techniques are meant to be very natural to you as they use the normal rhythms and functions of the human mind. When you were born, you did not know how to walk at all… What about now? Are you actually conscious about how you walk (the physical action)? What about riding a bicycle? When you started to learn how to walk or ride a bike, you had to be so conscious about your body movement. But now you can execute those actions so naturally without having any thoughts in mind. This shows the incredible ability of human mind to receive training and carry out action naturally through a subconscious mind.

As long as you understand this, you can learn and try several self-hypnosis techniques to yourself depending on your objectives (stop smoking, weight loss etc.) and see what techniques will work for you the best. If you are interested in changing your habits or any other self-improvement, do some research and you will find quite a few great materials to learn from.

Conversational Hypnosis / NLP

This is the type of hypnosis I’ve been learning and practicing. I am personally enjoying this jurney and it makes me more powerful as i get more confidence. Now, you may ask “Is it hard to learn?” I would say it is not easy as you actually need to practice the techniques you learn quite a bit but it’s certainly not as hard as clinical hypnosis and quite frankly, it’s great fun!

There are many ways to learn conversational hypnosis but I’ve mainly been learning from books, a home-study course and through some networking in the local hypnosis industry (you can find those network groups online). In the nut-shell, this is what I’ve been doing:

Keep learning from an ongoing conversational hypnosis home-study course almost everyday (I try to spend at least an hour a day).

Go out there and start testing what i learned with people I meet (Practice).

If it did not work, investigate why by going back to my study course and books or by asking other hypnotists.

Go out there and try again and again until I see the results.

Once I get the hang of it, move onto the next technique.

Like anything, there is always a certain process you need to go through in order to see results. ..and how long it takes to master depends on the pace of your learning and how often put it in practice. Obviously, more often you try to use the techniques, faster you will learn. And more techniques you master, more powerful your life will be.

Now I can create a situation in a conversation with someone where I can make the person agree with what I suggest and I use this tactic with my prospective customers often (I’m in sales). My success rate is about 70% right now and let me tell you, it really makes me feel powerful (I’d love you to experience the feeling too)!!

But don’t think that you can hypnotize anyone out there. I used to think so but it does not work that way. Conversational hypnosis (hypnosis in general) tend to work better with people who trust you. So it works better if they know you already (and they kinda like you) but you can still persuade people at your first meeting as long as you can create a relax and comfortable atmosphere (rapport). This means you may need to work on your interpersonal skills as well if you think you are not good at it.

Ready To Learn?

There are many books and home-study courses available on conversational hypnosis (NLP / covert hypnosis) so if you are ready to learn, make sure to do some research and find one you would feel right to go with. I would also suggest you to join a local network club for hypnosis/NLP (check out Meetup.com in your area) if you can. Here’s a hypnosis program that will start you on the right foot.

So “Is It Hard to Learn How to Hypnotize People?“ Well, I personally don’t find it hard because hypnosis is so fascinating and I enjoy learning it. …You? I guess you need to try it first then you will know the answer naturally.

That’s it for now… Have a great day!

This is exactly how hypnosis works. Hypnotic induction is NOT a track. Understand how hypnosis exactly works before you learn how to hypnotize someone.

Okay, let’s talk about how hypnosis works. It’s pretty amazing really (that’s what i thought when i found out about it). Let’s say I’m hypnotizing my girlfriend… What I need to do is lead her into a trans like state where she becomes totally unaware of current situation.
When this happens, she becomes more relaxed and suggestible to me (hypnotist). You maybe wondering how the heck it happens? Why is my girlfriend in the hypnotic state willing to do whatever being asked to do?

Have you ever heard of Dr. Milton Erickson? He is known as one of the greatest master hypnotists in 20th century, who discovered this particular hypnosis method called “conversational hypnosis”. He found out that people actually hypnotize themselves pretty much everyday without realizing it.

This happens to me too almost everyday, like when I’m watching dvd movies, listening to my favorite piece of music with my iPod or even when I’m day dreaming for a minute in a park under a ray of sunshine… What happens is that people get so into it so much, they become unaware of what’s happening in the real surroundings. Hypnosis can be defined as a mental state between your sleep and wakeful state.

Now it’s important to understand conscious and subconscious mind and how they work if you want to learn how to hypnotize someone. When my girlfriend goes to hypnotic state, her subconscious mind can directly be accessed by me (my suggestions).

If you are in conscious state, you are basically aware of your thoughts, everything that is happening around you and things you do to yourself and others. Those things happen because your subconscious mind give orders to your conscious mind to execute things in life, which you are fully aware of. This includes things that you do very often such as your physical habits and they are automatically handled by subconscious mind. This means that your subconscious mind hold the true power behind all operations in your everyday life.

Back to my example. When my girlfriend is in a hypnotic state, her subconscious mind gets wide open and ready to receive any information directly from me while her conscious mind gets a lot less active. Because her subconscious mind holds all incoming information coming from me, I can even change some of the information that are already stored in her mind. This is a hypnotic technique that hypnotherapists use to fix people’s bad habits.

Now can you see how hypnosis works?

This is how I decided to learn how to hypnotize someone. It was so cool when this stage hypnotist used the power of conversational hypnosis to this collage girl...

I first got interested in learning how to hypnotize someone when I saw this small stage hypnosis show in live, making people do all the silly and funny stuff (like acting like monkeys, being butt-naked on a busy street etc..). I don’t even remember his name (i think he was called Richard something…) but anyway, he was really incredible.

The most memorable scene during his show was when he did so called “covert hypnosis” or “conversational hypnosis” to this college student (girl). This hypnotist did not do one of those typical “therapy” styles but just did it by having some natural conversation with her. I think he was talking for just over a minute or so and next thing I knew, she was completely in the hypnotic state and obeying him! I had no idea how he did it but it was so cool! ..and needless to say, that triggered my curiosity to the max because I wanted to do the exact same thing to my girlfriend I just started to go out with (nothing bad, okay!?).

So I started to research on what this hypnotist did to the college student and started to understand the power of conversational hypnosis. It’s all about suggesting ideas to someone’s subconscious mind… I will explain basically how it works in the next post (otherwise this post is going to be little too long so…).

Have a nice day!
